Since the early 2010s, DK has been working the NYC Cabaret circuit with various artists, as well as performing and recording with The Adam Levowitz Orchestra (rock/funk/R&B), and Jack Spann (eclectic original rock/blues).  Currently DK is appearing in person and on recordings with Charles Buckland (Americana/indigenous/rock), and The Dick Michaels Band (rock/blues).

 

Dk has been teaching drums and music as a private instructor and as school faculty for over 27 years, most recently at the DEA Music and Arts Schools.  DK taught nine years at NYC's The Family Schools in a Montessori context.

DK s studied at the Drummer's Collective and earned a Bachelor of Arts in music from Hunter College.
